Sorry it's been awhile since I've posted some chapters.
But, I should talk about Divine Mercy.

So St. Faustina is a Polish Mystic, which I find pretty cool, because I'm half-Polish and John Paul II was Polish.  I'm also half-Irish and my birthday is the day after St. Patrick's Day, but we'll save him for a later discussion.  So St. Faustina got tapped by Jesus to be His secretary on what He would tell her about His Divine Mercy and she wrote down everything in her Diary.

Jesus appeared to St. Faustina clothed in a white robe pointing to His Chest and where He pointed two rays were coming out of His chest(one red and one white).  He asked  her to paint this vision with the words, "Jesus, I trust in You."  The rays represent the Blood and Water which flowed forth from Jesus when the lance was thrust into His side--these rays come from His Divine Mercy. (A further explanation with the Image at is at http://divinemercy.org/image.html)

The Sunday after Easter has been declared to be Divine Mercy Sunday --this day you can get all kinds of Graces(can we say Plenary Indulgence?--another listing here and here)--in essence the floodgates of His Divine Mercy are fully open that day to everyone who approaches the Fount of His Divine Mercy, especially the greatest of sinners.  There is Novena of Chaplets you can say from Good Friday to Divine Mercy Sunday..  The Chaplet that you say is the Divine Mercy Chaplet which Jesus gave to St. Faustina.  (To learn to pray the chaplet go here: http://www.ewtn.com/devotionals/mercy/dmmap.htm)
(The correct way to pray the Novena is here:  http://www.faustina.ch/swieto_milosierdzia/nowenna/novena.htm --basically you pray the prayer that is listed and then you pray one Divine Mercy Chaplet each day of the Novena)

Also Jesus told St. Faustina for us to always remember His Passion at 3pm Daily to remember when He Died on Good Friday.  Say the Stations of the Cross or just pause or you can pray the Chaplet or say some other prayer.

Pray for the Divine Mercy of Jesus.  Jesus will be the Just Judge, but if we pray for His Divine Mercy at the deathbed of the dying, Jesus stands and intervenes for that person as Merciful Savior.  Jesus also said that the greater the sinner, the greater the right that sinner has to His Divine Mercy.

Praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet is praying for the Divine Mercy to be poured out on us and the whole world.  Praying the Novena of Chaplets is bringing different souls to the Fount of the Divine Mercy of Jesus for each of nine days--the last day lukewarm souls(which wound His Heart most deeply) are brought to Him.
